Are you eligible to take the API 570 exam?

The qualifications requirements for the Standard are set out in Annex A. API 570 Certification as a piping inspector is based on a combination of education and practical experience in the field.-service of metallic piping systems. This experience must be acquired in the last 10 year while employed or under contract by an authorized inspection agent as defined in API 570.

Before you submit an application, please review the table below to determine whether or not you are eligible to take part in the program. API 570 exam:

2-Certificate or year degree in engineering or technology. 2 years Design, construction and repair of in.-service piping systems. One year must be spent supervising or performing inspections as described in API 570.
