You Can Earn a Full-Time Income Working 2 Hours Per Week

Growing up in rural Appalachia, I was extremely poor. Food stamps and poor housing are two examples of what I mean.

My family used to tell me that I was a good person. “Use your brain, not your body,” Because so many people in my community had suffered injuries from manual labor jobs.

When I was accepted to college, I believed that all my problems would be solved.

After I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology, I realized that I had no prospects for a better future.

I went back to school.

After spending 12 years and $200,000 to get my doctorate, I began working in the medical field as a therapist.

Through some hard negotiations, I eventually got my salary up to $93,000 a year—high for the therapy field, and more than anyone in my family had ever made.

It’s about $45 an hour.

I thought I was finally done. “made it.”

However, it meant I had to spend 40 hours per week in bureaucratic red tape and jumping through insurance hoops. It also meant dealing with incompetent bosses and following bullshit dress codes such as wearing khakis or a polo (I hate khakis).

The worst? The worst part? “subclinical.” Because as soon they feel well, it is because “enough,” Their insurance company would cease to cover therapy.

I couldn’t help them to flourish or live a more satisfying life.

I felt trapped by my steady income and job security.

I was then invited to 2020 and received an email…

I would be fired in 30 days.

I was working remotely in telehealth. However, my employer required everyone to return to the office due, you know, to the pandemic …).

My job was at risk because my position was completely remote and I’d already moved.

To make $45/hour, I had to spend 12 years of my adult life and $200,000 on student loan debt.-Demand field that had all-But-Guaranteed job security

That job security was gone.

It was worse because I couldn’t find another job due to how backward therapy licensure works. It would have taken me four.-6 months to be relicensed in my state of residence.

I could not wait to make money. But I did not know what to do.

What if I could not do therapy anymore, how would I be able to use my skills now?

I found an article on how to become a coach.

Coaching Seemed to have everything I needed in my work so I took some courses, and began my own coaching business.

I started slow and cheaply, but then slowly built up my reputation and raised my rates.

As a coach, my hourly rate is $875

That’s 19 times what I made as a well-Paid therapist

Clients all around the globe can be coached from my home.

No more long commutes or excruciating small talk at lunchtime with gossiping coworkers.

Can I coach 40 hours per week?

Absolutely not.

I can work 2 hours Coaching is almost the same as working. 40 hours A week of therapy

• For $1,800 per week, 40 hours of therapy were done.
• 2 hours of coaching per week for $1,750/week.

Each hour I coach frees up 20 hours that I would have had to work for someone else.

• Lift or train BJJJ at the gym
• To increase my income, create courses
