Hi! Hi! My name is Julien, and I’m the instructor at EatTheBlocks Pro.

I am a senior blockchain software engineer. I was previously employed in Finance before switching to software development six year ago.

Since the beginning of my career, I have been developing Dapps for Solidity and ICOs smart contracts for various Ethereum and ICOs projects. This includes Lendingblock, an institutional cryptocurrency lending exchange.

EatTheBlocks, which is a YouTube channel for Ethereum developers, is what I run. I also have a Blockchain course published for Manning.

I contribute to the Drizzle code and spoke at TruffleCon 2019 about Drizzle.

What’s the difference between the EatTheBlocks YouTube channel and the others?
EatTheBlocks is a free Youtube channel where I also teach Ethereum & smart contracts. Both EatTheBlocks (Youtube channel) and EatTheBlocks Pro (this course) teach Ethereum & smart contracts. While EatTheBlocks Pro teaches the basics, EatTheBlocks Pro teaches advanced topics. You will also find many full-projects on EatTheBlocks Pro where we build a Dapp starting from A to Z. On EatTheBlocks (the Youtube channel), we tend to stick to short videos and not really create full-fledged apps. Also, on EatTheBlocks Pro, you get access to: * private telegram chat group * private one-on-one coaching with me, Julien (if you choose the Premium membership).
What are the topics covered by this book?
Ethereum Dapp development, smart contracts security, smart contract design, smart contract testing (TDD), continuous Integration, Dapp architecture, and design.
Are you only covering Ethereum?
Yes! EatTheBlocks Pro is unique in that it focuses exclusively on Ethereum. Many students make the common mistake of trying to learn too many Blockchains at once. The Ethereum ecosystem is much larger than any other Blockchain. Due to the law of network effects, it is very likely that the majority of DApps will be built on Ethereum. It is why I recommend that you focus on Ethereum. If you are focused enough, you can put in enough effort and become a master at one Blockchain rather than just dabbling in others (which will not land you a job by the way …)).
What languages and libraries are covered?
We will use the latest tools, libraries and languages: Solidity, Remix, Ganache, Truffle, Drizzle, Nodejs/Javascript/ES6, React, Webpack.

Yes! All information is available publicly on git repo

How does lifetime access sound to you? You have unlimited access to the course after enrolling – on any device you own.
What type of OS/computer do I need to use?
The courses can be followed with the most recent Windows versions, Linux on MacOS and Linux on Windows.
Is there a minimum level to take the courses?
It is preferred if you have at least 1y experience in web design.
