After passing all the exams and completing all case studies, you will receive your full certification and registration. This package contains everything you need to reference the training materials if you have already taken it. The DVD’s show the entire process, as James worked with several individuals and conditioned them. Then, he demonstrated both partial and complete amnesia, as well as analgesia and general anesthesia. James demonstrates how to stage individuals into profound somnambulism. He also shows and explains the entire process step-by-step, as you progress throughout each of the DVD’s and follow along in the Ultra Depth® Process Training Manual.
The Ultra Depth® Process Training Manual II offers more tools for working with clients to determine their level of stress so you can better assist them , their personality either pessimistic or optimistic to help determine possible difficulty factor, NLP eye accessing cues which is very helpful in determining the viability of facts during a regression, four more induction techniques, a complete regression course including Step Regression© and the Reverse Staging Technique so you may experience the actual surfacing of the past personality with their eyes open and a method to bring you into the regression successfully, Retention/Recall Technique that when executed properly will increase an individual’s ability to focus, apprehend, retain and recall information so they increase exam scores astronomically and the complete UD-Assisted Birthing© course to help mothers-to-be experience a pain-free delivery and have choice of local or general anesthesia without the use of dangerous drugs.
The new Ultra Script Manual It is a two-part manual. 12 of the 14 scripts were designed around it. Ultra Depth® Relaxation script I created over ten years ago that I have been using with my clients successfully. After I had completed my research, I decided it was the right time to release these scripts and include them in the website. Ultra Depth® Process Program. Additional information is provided at the end of each script that will help you to use the suggestions in the script with your clients. I have included RD Longacher’s, “Hypno-Depth Meter” A technique that can be used by your client to get feedback on how deep he is. Two new advanced self-hypnosis conditioning programs that include fractionation for use with difficult subjects. Each script teaches individuals how to respond to and use the keywords. “Deeply Relax” to enter hypnosis. One script will condition the individual to respond to or use those keywords to enter the Sichort state.
A colleague once said to me that I had been told in the past that. “Progressive Relaxations are not all that great because you cannot use fractionation with them to gain depth.” So I decided to show it to an adult hypnosis course class that I was teaching at a Virginia community college. It was my turn as the last exercise of the night. My colleague was speechless when I finally emerged everyone. I joked to her as we left the college that night. “You’re right, you cannot use fractionation in a progressive.” Her response was: “Alright smart ass, so you proved me wrong.” These scripts work well and I am now sharing them with you. You will find 199 additional pages in my distant learning course, which include scripts and powerful information that will help you have more success with clients.

Even though I had studied and practiced clinical hypnosis for more than ten years, I had encountered nothing like what I found when I took James Ramey’s Ultra Depth® Training in the Spring 1999. I had studied Ericksonian Hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming with some the finest trainers in the U.S. and yet I found that James Ramey’s training of Ultra Depth® My skills and knowledge have been greatly enhanced. My understanding of consciousness and awareness, particularly the use of progressive relaxation, staging, deepening, and depth have significantly improved, thanks to James’ training. James’ training has enhanced my understanding of how these techniques can bridge that gap between the Consciousness & the Subconscious.
James Ramey is a student of Walter Sichort, and it is through James that Sichort’s work will be preserved. James has made every effort to preserve the Sichort approach and to pass the knowledge of this great hypnotist on to a younger generation. The Sichort method will be passed on to the next generation of practitioners, just as Dr. Milton Erickson did. While Erickson’s approach was more permissive and spontaneous, and relied on narrative, utilization, metaphors, and analogies, Sichort’s work, by contrast, is more directive and procedural, and therefore can be replicated more reliably. Sichort’s work is concerned with depth and with the evidence of hypnotic phenomena, in a manner much like that of Dr. G.H. Estabrooks, Professor of Psychology at Colgate University. She wrote extensively about hypnotism between the 1940s & 1950s.
The Ultra Depth® James Ramey spent years researching the material that you now have in your hand. The manual’s purpose is to complement the information in the video so that students can continue practicing the methods and improve their skills over time. In this training, James has captured the ultimate results of Sichort’s work, as well as induction methods developed by Dave Elman. The manual contains information on basic psychology as well as standard preinduction exercises. This manual is easy-to-use thanks to the excellent illustrations, summaries of information, large type size, bold font highlights, and bulleted listings.
It is kept at my desk at my Springfield, Virginia practice. I refer to it frequently when working with clients. It is truly a treasure trove of information. “How To Do It” From preinduction to reorientation. You will also find advice on how you can handle difficult subjects or unanticipated problems. The writing is simple and clear. With practice and attention, students can copy the methods and achieve consistent results.
The manual’s body is made up of scripts. They are extremely useful for practitioners who want to improve their understanding of these techniques. This manual includes scripts to help with progressive relaxation, somnambulism and the Esdaile State as well direct suggestion scripts to help with common applications like weight control or smoking cessation.
The scripts retain the subtleties of Ramey’s techniques and allow for consistency between sessions. These scripts are great for practicing. You can read them aloud word for word. The wording was developed over many years of trial-and-error and constant refinement by Miles, Sichort, Ramey and Miles. While I have performed minor improvisations for clients, I have noticed that the verbatim protocols are incredibly effective in securing deep relaxation, particularly with clients who are just starting to learn clinical procedures. You will learn what to say, and when to say it.
The DVD Ultra Depth® Training is well-organized with logical sequences. James is a good example and provides clear explanations of procedures. He is committed to clarity and consistency. He brings to his teaching platform a genuine desire to teach and an integrity that he encourages his students to maintain in their clinical practice.
